Oppo brings R5, a slim phone measuring just 4.85mm thin.
Oppo brings model R5, an ultra-thin smartphone priced at US$490. This smartphone measures 4.85mm thin, which makes it one of the slimmest phones in the world. Its frame and out shell are made of aluminum-magnesium alloy. Weighing 155g, R5 features a 16MP motorized rotating camera. Its front camera shoots at 5MP and its back camera at 13MP. To solve the radiating issue caused by the phone's thinness, Oppo has designed “Ice Nest”, a cooling technology that enables the phone to operate at low temperatures.
R5 measures 148.9x74.5x4.85mm. It features a 5.2in AMOLED multi-touch capacitive screen with ppi of 442. It can support 2G, 3G and 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and WLAN. It is powered by Snapdragon 615 Octa-core 1.5GHz CPU with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM. It has a battery capacity of 2,000mAh.
Oppo is a global smart terminal and mobile products company established in 2004. It manufactures and sells smartphones, high-end video equipment and other mobile products. Its business covers the US, China, Russia, Europe and Southeast Asia.
