Tian Kan Electronic Technology Co. Ltd released recently the model WS6180 wireless weather station with a frequency range of 433MHz. The unit also has a range of 100m without RCC transmission. It is equipped with carbon dioxide and air-quality sensors, and is able to detect the presence of ammonia, hydrogen, alcohol, carbon monoxide, volatile organic gases, cigarette smoke, timber and paper in the air.

Carbon dioxide, outdoor/indoor humidity and temperature, moon phase, barometric pressure and forecast icons are shown on its large LCD. The readings are based on changing barometric pressure and weather conditions in the past 14 days. Radio-controlled alarm clock and data can be set manually.

The meteorological device's working temperature ranges from -40 to 70 C while pressure is between 300 and 1,100hPa. Humidity and temperature accuracy are ±5 percent and ±1 C, respectively.
