Richard Lin, a project leader of the Institute for Climate and Carbon Neutrality from the University of Hong Kong, delivered “EU Sustainability Compliance Rules: Impact in the Asia-Pacific Region.” He focused on the recent update on EU ESG regulations and analyzed how these rules affect businesses across the Asia-Pacific. His session emphasized cross-border compliance challenges and opportunities, helping participants anticipate and align with global sustainability expectations while leveraging ESG as a strategic advantage.

At the same time, Valerio D’Angelo of the AROCA Group, presented “Beyond ESG: From Metrics to Meaning in a New Business Environment.” He guided participants through complex ESG compliance landscapes, explaining how companies could move beyond basic metrics to embed meaningful sustainability practices into their business strategies.
