Sun-wave Co. Ltd offers the world's first open-type LED sterilizer, which uses IR diodes emitting at more than 400nm to disinfect in a given area various items such as chopping boards, knives, spoons and forks, pillows, toothbrushes, toilets, shoes and clothes. The emitted light is harmless to the human body.

The unit, with patent number 10-1302400, can also dry items when the IR LEDs and UV lights are turned on. It includes a timer with on, and 4 and 8-hour settings.

The product integrates 120 diodes and has a PC and ABS housing. It runs on 220V/60Hz and consumes 8W. Dimensions are 505x27mm and weight is 200g.
