Recognized as one of the country’s leading humanoid robot manufacturers, Unitree has achieved remarkable global market penetration according to Goldman Sachs. Technology research firm Omdia reported that Unitree shipped over 5,500 humanoid robots in 2025, dwarfing competitors Tesla, Figure AI, and Agility Robotics, each of which delivered roughly 150 units. Unitree itself subsequently confirmed these figures in an official statement, highlighting that total mass-production output surpassed 6,500 units last year when including other robot categories. This performance not only underscores China's ability to compete at the forefront of robotics innovation but also reflects a broader industrial upgrade.

Broadly, China’s overseas expansion is rapidly evolving beyond consumer electronics and mature manufacturing lines to focus on supplying the critical hardware backbone for the burgeoning AI economy, from advanced factory automation solutions to intelligent embodied robotics.
