150 hardware startups converge at Global Sources Electronics show

Startup Launchpad, Asia's largest consumer electronics hardware startup event, will run during both phases of the world's largest electronics sourcing trade show.

Now on its second year, Startup Launchpad gathers 150 emerging hardware startups, the largest collection of consumer electronics startups in Asia, and their latest tech products. The startups are from the US, Canada, Hong Kong, mainland China, Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore, Russia, Israel, France and Denmark.

Startup Launchpad is a conference program and pavilion integrated within both phases of the Global Sources Electronics show. The pavilion will showcase the latest technologies and electronics hardware products from 16 categories, including sound and visual, fitness and health, IoT solutions, drones and robotics, and VR and AR.

The conference program will run eight days. It will have 34 speakers, including industry experts from Indiegogo, HAX, HTC-Vive X, HWTrek, Microsoft, Brinc, Sales Force and Mesh Ventures.

Global Sources Electronics, the world's largest electronics sourcing trade show, will feature 6,000 booths of the latest electronics from Greater China, Korea and across Asia.

Running from Oct. 11 to 14, the first phase of Global Sources Electronics includes 3,500 booths and will focus on consumer electronics, security products and electronic components.

The second phase, Mobile Electronics, will take place from Oct. 18 to 21 and will showcase the latest smartphones, tablets, wearable devices and mobile accessories.
