Hero-1 is a service robot for restaurants designed by Wuhu Okayrobot Co. Ltd. Adopting optical sensors, the CE-marked model can welcome customers, carry trays of food and communicate with people using simple phrases. It can navigate around the restaurant and stop at designated areas. When food is delivered to diners, the robot will return to the kitchen automatically. Other features include voice prompt and music player.
Hero-1 runs on a 32-bit ARM processor and is fitted with two stereo speakers. Its eyes consist of 60 LED lights. Internal storage is 4GB, which is expandable via a TF card. The model can be controlled wirelessly through a mobile app. Product dimensions are 150x56x69cm.
Wuhu Okayrobot owns an 80,000sqm factory. In a month, it can turn out 3,000 to 4,000 units.
