The model PR-331 handspun tasar silk from Eco Tasar Silk (P) Ltd is fabricated from silk worms reared naturally on trees. It is blended with 40 percent cotton and comes in a dobby construction with a textured appearance. The fabric also uses azo-free vegetables dyes and is designed for upholstery. Width is 44in.

Eco started as an NGO in Jharkhand advocating environmental preservation. It also has a range of Ahimsa silk, which does not require killing silk worms. The company's fabrics can be used for sarees, stoles, home textiles and upholstery.
