Gate disappears quickly into the ground

A new gate and fence system called Fancy Fence is capable of retracting into the ground in five seconds and boasts a minimalist space-saving design.

Made of vertical slats in steel, HPL or agglomerated quartz in buyers’ desired width and height, Fancy Fence also appears lighter as compared to typical sliding gates. It is comprised of a retractable driveway gate, “invisible” walkway gate with a hinged joint for letting pedestrians in, and stylish fencing. With it, homeowners can now find other uses for the space that is freed up.

Makers of the retractable gate and fence system prioritized safety by adding sensors that prevent the slabs from rising if someone is directly above them. In case an electricity outage happens, the gate can be operated manually via a handle in its center cover.

The system is also designed to withstand rainy weather. Its precast concrete vault has a water-resistant seal and the water that seeps into the vault cover holes are pumped out automatically.
