Union Brother Technology Co. Ltd has introduced Alpha, a humanoid robot that can perform complex movements such as push-ups, handstands and forward/backward rolls. With 16 degrees of freedom, the robot is able to move more flexibly. A user can program Alpha’s movements either by manually adjusting the joints to any desired position or via 3D programming. Alpha can also be operated via a remote control.

The robot is powered by a 1,500mAh 8.4VDC battery that yields 40 minutes standby time. It has LED lights and loudspeakers. Alpha is made of aluminum. Product dimensions are 442x398x115mm.
