DC types have 24 or 30VDC rated voltage, 0.1A rated current, 200mohm maximum contact and 50Mohm minimum insulation resistance.
In both subcategories, there are water-resistant types, mostly with an IP63, IP67 or IP68 rating. All products comply with industry safety standards, including UL, CE and RoHS.
Chinese manufacturers cater to applications in household appliances, consumer and automotive electronics, medical devices and industrial equipment, providing customization services as required. Such tailor-made microswitches make up 30 to 60 percent of their shipments.
China-made microswitches are made using copper, tin, silver, gold, PBT, PET and other materials sourced from domestic suppliers unless buyers request otherwise. Despite fluctuations in the cost of copper, most companies have been keeping their prices unchanged to boost competitiveness.
