As New Year approaches, many would want to spruce up homes and other spaces with a fresh coat of paint. Pantone already had their latest in-demand palettes out, and other US manufacturers are following suit with their own unique hues. Here are some of their color picks that could also be trendy in 2017, as reported by Industry Edge:

Beyond Wild Imaginations – This is an extensive paint lineup from Dunn Edwards, reflecting themes from culture, technological innovations, including drones, robots, VR and wearables, and places, marketing, food, health and luxuries. It features a range of natural and bold colors that can be mixed.

Poised Taupe – From manufacturer Sherwin Williams, this palette uses gray with brown. The gray hue, though, may be popular only until 2017.

Byzantine Blue – This is a gray violet hue that turns more gray or violet depending on the paired colors. It is offered by Glidden. The hue gives a soothing effect, a trend also expected by other manufacturers.

Cloudberry – This color recommended by Olympic is also a soothing shade of violet.

Soft and bright – From Behr, the palettes are said to be warm and comforting. Pastels, powdery and misty colors banner the line.

Violet Verbana – PPG Paint’s color of 2017 is another purple-gray blend but is inspired by 2016’s bohemian designs. It can either look masculine or feminine.
