STREAM toys are continually revolutionizing the way children play, as well as how parents choose products for their kids, placing a much higher value on edutainment rather than on aesthetic appeal or simple enjoyment. The next line of toys are expected to integrate robotics and arts, allowing players to expand their creativity and develop skills by building from scratch.
One such DIY toy that promotes imaginative play is Canada-based ORB's Morph, a shapeshifting compound that can expand up to three times its original size when flipped and folded, thanks to its air-filled mini sphere composition. The toy's rough texture is reminiscent of Kinetic Sand, but unlike traditional clay, the particles adhere to each other so strongly that models are able to retain their form for a longer period.
Though the Morph's makeup allow each of its particles to attach to one another, the compound does not stick to surfaces or leave residues. Players will also find that the product has an ability to roll and bounce when formed into balls. Because of their light and airy structure, models can also float.
Suitable for children years old and up, ORB's transforming compound is non-toxic and available in six colors.
The Morph toy has been enjoying great popularity and demand in US since its release, already having sold more than 600,000 units. For the UK, Asobi Toys has been chosen as the official distributor.
