Dress Watches: Showing Gentleman's Elegance
Gentleman's Elegance is a kind of bearing from the inside out, and so is the watch. The following watches are not only outstanding in appearance, but also have a precise and powerful "core".
A Breitling for Bentley series
Founded in 1884, Breitling started and became famous for manufacturing aircraft chronographs and precision counters for scientific and industrial purposes. "Breitling for Bentley" is a series of chronographs launched by Breitling and Bentley Motors. In terms of design, the knurled design of Bentley's car control buttons, the machine-cut instrument panel and the glyph design on the dial have provided inspiration for Breitling designers; in terms of function, Breitling relies on proprietary technology to make this series. Chronograph watches are characterized by meticulous workmanship and excellent "engine" performance.
In 2004, Breitling launched two mechanical watches, the Bentley 6.75 and the Bentley GT.
In addition to the timing mechanism, the Bentley 6.75 also features a large display window calendar. The date is displayed through two display windows, one for tens and one for ones. The highly complicated mechanism guarantees the reliability and precision of the chronograph, which has resulted in the chronometer certification issued by the Swiss Official Chronometer Certification Center.
The Bentley GT is more compact, with a timer on the dial. In order to evoke the dashboard of the Bentley Grand Tourer, Breitling has used a series of metallic-effect colors that fully follow the colors of Bentley cars, which is the first time in the watch industry. The variable speed dial is designed to accurately read the measured speed. The powerful Breitling calibre 13B has also been certified by the Swiss Official Chronometer chronometer.
B Omega De Ville Coaxial Watch Series
The coaxial escapement device was jointly developed by British watchmaker George Daniel and Omega for 5 years, and finally developed into a mass-produced watchmaking process. It is called the most breakthrough and innovative watchmaking technology of the 20th century. The Omega Co-Axial Escapement System invented by George Daniel greatly reduces the friction between the escape wheel and the pallet fork, making the movement smoother and eliminating the need for lubrication of the inertia of the movement. Watches run more precisely and are more accurate.
At Baselworld 2004, Omega launched a new model of the De Ville Coaxial series with a diameter of 35 mm. This style is available in 18K red gold with a white finish or all steel with a silver finish. Like the same De Ville coaxial chronometer, the watch features an Omega self-winding chronograph chronometer movement and a vertical wheel timing device to ensure accuracy and a 55-hour power reserve. Given that the manufacture of a vertical wheel chronograph is the most complex technology in the watchmaking world, and only a few watchmakers have this excellent watchmaking technology and experience, this Omega De Ville Co-Axial Chronograph has been awarded the COSC Chronometer Certificate.
