1. The export turnover increased significantly, and the total turnover hit a record high
The total turnover of this Canton Fair was US$24.51 billion, an increase of 19.6% over the previous session.

In terms of commodities, mechanical and electrical products, clothing, and textiles have active transactions, with turnover of US$9.54 billion, US$2.86 billion, and US$2.18 billion, accounting for 39%, 11.7%, and 8.9% of the total turnover, respectively. An increase of 16.1%, 41.9% and 33.6%. Building materials and toys grew rapidly, with an increase of 113.7% and 38.7% respectively, and the turnover was US$590 million and US$730 million respectively.

Among the 48 trading groups, the top three in terms of transaction value were Guangdong trading group, special zone trading group (including Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Xiamen, Shantou and Hainan) and Jiangsu trading group. At US$2.81 billion, US$2.38 billion and US$2.25 billion, the three trading groups together accounted for 41.7% of the total transaction value.

From the perspective of countries (regions), the EU, the United States and the Middle East still ranked the top three in terms of transaction value, with the value of 7.33 billion US dollars, 4.28 billion US dollars and 2.81 billion US dollars respectively. The turnover with Russia, Australia and South Korea increased rapidly, increasing by 33.2%, 29.7% and 27.2% respectively.

In terms of enterprises, the turnover of state-owned enterprises, private enterprises and foreign-invested enterprises was US$15.3 billion, US$4.87 billion and US$2.21 billion respectively, accounting for 62.4%, 19.9% and 9% of the total.

This year's Canton Fair further strengthens e-commerce work. The three websites of "Online Canton Fair", "Online Canton Fair" and "Online Electromechanical Canton Fair" accumulated 76.02 million visits, an increase of 21.9%; the online intended transaction volume accumulated to US$300 million, an increase of 2.3%.

2. Good sales of branded products
This year's Canton Fair set up a brand exhibition area for the first time, with a total turnover of 4.44 billion US dollars, accounting for 18.1% of the total turnover. Among them, the household appliances exhibition area traded 1.96 billion US dollars, the clothing exhibition area traded 790 million US dollars, and the electronic and information products exhibition area traded 350 million US dollars.

3. The buyers who attended the meeting broke the historical record
There were a total of 159,717 buyers who attended the meeting, an increase of 5.9% over the 94th session, and they came from 203 countries and regions around the world. Among them, 101,256 people in Asia, an increase of 3.7%; 23,708 people in Europe, an increase of 2.2%; 19,178 people in the Americas, an increase of 9.6%; 8,097 people in Africa, an increase of 26.5%; Oceania 4,741 people, an increase of 26.6%.

The top five countries and regions among the buyers are: Hong Kong with 31,810 people, the United States with 11,265 people, Taiwan Province with 10,592 people, Indonesia with 6,656 people and Japan with 5,811 people. Purchasers from Japan and Hong Kong continued to decline by 8.7% and 2.7% respectively.

New buyers were active, with 67,670 registered buyers, accounting for 42.6% of the total buyers.

Four multinational retail groups including Leroy Merlin, American Central Purchasing and American QVC Company conducted fixed-point purchases at this Canton Fair. A total of 1,127 exhibitors made appointments for negotiation, and 223 companies came to the designated procurement area for negotiation.

4. Continue to strengthen the protection of intellectual property rights and enhance the awareness of enterprises to protect their rights and interests Under these circumstances, this Canton Fair has stepped up efforts to protect rights and interests in accordance with the law, and the protection of intellectual property rights has achieved good results. 198 complaints of various types of intellectual property rights have been accepted, and 165 cases of suspected infringement have been identified.
