Travel bottle keeps juice fresh longer

Health buffs and raw food enthusiasts frequently drink freshly made juices. One of the challenges they encounter is drinking a glass of fresh juice during the day, when they are away from home and do not have access to a juice expeller or food blender. In response to this, a team of designers from New York and Taiwan has collaborated for more than a year and has finally come up with the SANS Juice Travel Bottle, which helps preserve juices and smoothies.

The 16-ounce glass bottle has a vacuum pump mechanism to help preserve the liquids inside and keep the enzymes fresh, which are said to be among the primary components of fruit and vegetable concoctions. Air is removed from the bottle and a tight seal makes sure this is maintained.

The bottle is encased in a silicone sleeve that helps prevent slipping and breakage. This is for handwash only and is made from a safe, BPA-free material.

The fundraising campaign has been successful. It has already surpassed the $20,000 goal with more than a month to go.
