Trendsetting and highly in-demand notebooks for sourcing

Even in an increasingly digital world where everything is surrounded by electronics, paper notebooks still have not lost their touch and continue to be a staple in many offices, schools, businesses, and writing and art workshops.

Notebooks are one of the most versatile stationery products that have the potential to grow by $16.55 billion from 2021 to 2025 at a CAGR of 7.25 percent according to Technavio. The report added that 48 percent of such growth will originate from the Asia-Pacific region. This growth can be attributed to the extensive use of paper notebooks and constant demand in the education sector, the introduction of a wide variety of notebooks by manufacturers and the integration of technological features such as charging and computing capabilities, and app connectivity.

Aside from the Asia-Pacific region, Europe is also seen as a potential market for notebooks with consumers preferring to write down their thoughts and plans on paper. According to the government organization Centre for the Promotion of Imports from developing countries (CBI), the UK, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Poland and Italy were among the top European markets for notebooks from 2015 to 2019.
