This USB 3.1 connector from Ariba Technology Co. Ltd has copper alloy contacts respectively with gold- and tin-over-nickel plating on the contact and solder areas. Its shell is made of stainless steel and the insulator UL94V-0-rated thermoplastic.

The unit boasts 40mohm maximum initial contact and 100Mohm minimum insulation resistance, and 100VAC rms dielectric withstand voltage. The contact current of VBUS and VCONN pins are 5 and 1.25A. The mating force is 5 to 20N.

The connector operates in -40 to 85 C and lasts 10,000 cycles.
